A brief history.........

 


I first trained as a Nail Tech in 2002 after having my own nails done in salons on and off over the years.  I originally trained in Liquid & Powder (acrylic) and then in 2003 I decided to extend my skills and qualified in Indian Head Massage.  I got the holistic bug and went on to complete my Diploma in Holistic Therapies which encompassed Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Swedish Body Massage in 2005. In 2006 I completed my Advanced Reflexology Diploma.
 
I left college in 2005 and have been working in the industry ever since.  I am passionate about my career and have continued developing my skills.

I am a member of The Guild of Nail Technicians with additional membership of The Guild of Holistic Therapists and have public liability insurance through my membership.
 
I have entered nail competitions and have had the honour of being a Competition Judge at Pro Beauty National Nail Competitions in London and Manchester and at the Dublin Pro Beauty Show judging in manicure, pedicure, nail extension categories and floor judging (ensuring that all competitors are adhering to the rules and regulations).

Alongside my salon and the competitions, I also assist in the running of the the Professional Beauty Nail Education forums at London and Manchester Pro Beauty Shows. 

With regard to what products used in my salon - on the nail side I only use Young Nails Acrylics and Gels (EMA products - no MMA in my salon), Backscratchers Fibreglass and OPI for manicure and pedicure services. I hold a range of OPI products for retail purchase and can order any OPI product you may require.  For holistic therapies I use professional grade products and am qualified in prescriptive Aromatherapy so each treatment is specifically tailored for each client's needs with no pre-blended oils.
 
I only use professional, high quality products and provide an individual service for each and every client whether it be nail or holistic treatments and for your peace of mind I hold full public liability insurance. 
 
I also organise and run Pampertime parties for ladies to have a relax and unwind with some friends for girlie nights in, hen nights, reunions, wedding parties.  These evenings a great opportunity to catch up with friends and experience some wonderful treatments.
 
I was recently worked on Trinny & Susannah Meet Their Match and provided a nail art treatment to one of their featured ladies.
